DeskScene is a Windows desktop application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

02Data We Collect

DeskScene stores all data locally on your device only:

  • Window layout profiles (names, positions, sizes)
  • App settings and hotkey configurations
  • License activation status

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

03Microsoft Store

If you purchase DeskScene through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes your payment and purchase data according to Microsoft's own Privacy Policy. We receive no personal payment information.

04No Analytics, No Tracking

DeskScene does not include any analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking of any kind. Aside from one-time license validation (see below), the app does not connect to the internet.

05Enterprise License Data

When you purchase a DeskScene enterprise license directly (not via Microsoft Store), we collect and store:

  • Company name and contact email address
  • Number of licensed seats
  • License activation records (device hardware IDs, activation timestamps)

This data is used solely for license validation and support purposes. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

License validation requires an internet connection on first activation. After activation, the app functions fully offline.

06Data Retention

License and activation records are retained for the duration of your license plus 2 years for accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting [email protected].

07GDPR (EU/EEA Customers)

If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact [email protected] for any such requests.
